Hark Pro
Launched on 6 October 2026 by Brett Adcock's new startup Hark, Hark Pro is the month's biggest AI story — an assistant that doesn't just chat but actually does things for you, from booking trips to filling out web forms. It's free on Android, iOS and web, and early users rate it highly for tasks like expense approvals and flight bookings. Pros: genuinely proactive automation rather than another chatbot, every function ships in the free plan, visible browser actions keep you in control of what it does. Cons: many integrations are US-centric services like DoorDash and OpenTable that Pakistanis can't use, the $20–$100 monthly tiers are dollar-priced and expensive in rupees, it asks for deep access to your email and card details so trust is a real question. Best for AI-curious early adopters in Pakistan who want to see where agents are headed — with realistic expectations about what's usable locally.
