One of the most-installed video players on Android, and a fixture on Pakistan's top-charts — PLAYit plays almost any video or music file on your phone, from 4K MKV downloads to WhatsApp status clips, with floating-window and background play built in. It auto-detects media on your device and SD card, converts video to MP3, downloads subtitles, and hides private videos in a locked folder. Pros: huge format support including 4K, light on storage, and genuinely useful extras like the video-to-audio converter. Cons: ads in the free version, and some advanced features sit behind premium. Best for anyone whose phone is full of downloaded dramas, lectures and clips that the default player chokes on.
