Qwen — Alibaba AI Assistant

By Qwen Team (Alibaba) · Category: AI & Assistants

Alibaba's official AI assistant and the most serious new rival to ChatGPT and Gemini on the Play Store. Beyond chat, it edits photos (background removal, anime styles), turns text into images and short AI videos, scans documents, reads Word and PDF files, and translates on the fly. For Pakistani students and freelancers who want one free AI app instead of several, Qwen's all-in-one pitch is hard to ignore. As a Chinese tech giant's product, users who care about data jurisdiction should skim the privacy policy first.
