SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files
The file-sharing staple of Pakistani Android phones — SHAREit moves photos, videos, apps and documents between phones at speeds far beyond Bluetooth, without using any mobile data, which is why it survives on phones passed between family members and shop counters alike. It also doubles as a file manager with a built-in video and photo downloader, and its phone-clone tool copies contacts, photos and apps from an old phone to a new one in one sitting. Pros: data-free transfers at very high speed, works across Android, iPhone and PC, and no file-size limits. Cons: the app is ad-heavy, and its extra feeds and game sections can feel cluttered. Best for anyone in Pakistan who regularly swaps large videos, movies or full photo albums between phones, or is setting up a new handset.
